Art Coleman is the President of Citadel Risk Management which is a professional manager of Runoff and On-going Insurance and Reinsurance liabilities. In addition to managing these liabilities, Citadel Risk Management manages , through its affiliation with Citadel Re, provides Commutation Stop Loss coverage for Insurers and Reinsurers. Citadel Risk Management also provides Audit, Inspection and Commutation services for it clients. Prior to establishing Citadel Risk Management on August 2005, Art was the Executive Vice President for CNA Global Resource Managers from 1996 to July 2005 responsible for the CNA Re Runoff as well as GRM’s Audit and Consulting practice. From 2002 through July 2005, Art was also the President of Continental National Indemnity, a subsidiary of CNA. From 1993 to 1996 Art was the Vice President of Financial Consulting for Munich American R and prior to that was the Vice President of Continental Re Management, a subsidiary of the Continental Corporation. Art is the current Chairman of the Board of Directors of AIRROC and one of the founding Board Members of the association. He also chairs AIRROC’s Annual Commutation and Networking event held at the Sheraton Meadowlands in October of each year
Rick Rosenblum represents businesses and individuals internationally in high stakes disputes. Mr. Rosenblum’s single-minded focus is to deliver creative and successful solutions and results. He specializes in insurance and reinsurance litigation and arbitration and has a long track record of success for a diverse set of clients. Mr. Rosenblum has been recognized as a leading Texas insurance attorney in the 2010 and 2011 editions of Chambers USA: America’s Leading Lawyers for Business. Mr. Rosenblum has repeatedly received recognition of his peers as a Texas “Super Lawyer.” In 2011, he was awarded the Partner Recognition Award for the firm’s San Antonio office in honor of his outstanding contributions to the mentoring and professional development of associates and counsel. Mr. Rosenblum has been selected by his peers for inclusion in the 2012 edition of The Best Lawyers in America in the practice areas of commercial litigation and insurance law. Mr. Rosenblum received his B.S. magna cum laude in political science in 1985 from Texas A&M University, where he was a member of the Phi Kappa Phi, Pi Sigma Alpha, Pi Alpha Alpha and Phi Eta Sigma honor societies and was selected for the Undergraduate Fellows Program. He received his J.D. in 1988 from the University of Texas School of Law. Mr. Rosenblum serves on the board of trustees of the United Way of San Antonio and on Akin Gump’s firmwide diversity committee. Mr. Rosenblum also serves on the board of SAMMinistries.
Wendy Shapss is a senior managing director in the FTI Forensic and Litigation Consulting segment and is based in New York City. Ms. Shapss has over 16 years experience in accounting, auditing, fraud and financial-based matters and specializes in litigation consulting, forensic accounting, fraud and financial investigations, and bankruptcy consulting. In the insurance industry, Ms. Shapss has been involved in a number of arbitrations and litigations involving contractual issues with both insurance and reinsurance contracts, insolvencies, audits, amounts owing, contingent commissions, antitrust, and bid rigging. Her assignments have given her a broad range of experience in many industries including insurance, hospitality, automotive, waste management, publishing, manufacturing, financial services, apparel and textiles, not-for-profit, restaurants, and retail. She has also worked on matters involving a broad range of environmental and asbestos issues. Prior to its acquisition by FTI, Ms. Shapss worked for Kahn Consulting. Prior to Kahn Consulting, Ms. Shapss worked as a senior auditor with Price Waterhouse where she planned and supervised audits for multinational and middle-market clients in industries such as book and magazine publishing, apparel manufacturing, financial and professional services and non-profit organizations.
