HB is proud to announce David J. Brummond, Senior Sanctions Advisor – Insurance in the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) in the U.S. Treasury Department, will present the keynote address at HB’s (Re)Insurance Industry Outlook on March 28, 2012, in New York.
In his current position, Mr. Brummond assists in the development of compliance policy for the insurance industry, provides subject matter expertise on insurance to the Office of Undersecretary for Terrorism and Financial Intelligence, assists in the drafting of licenses for insurance transactions, and develops recommendations for an appropriate OFAC response to sanctions violations within the insurance sector. He also promotes understanding and awareness of OFAC sanctions programs through outreach activities to all segments of the insurance industry.
