David E. Killough, an assistant general counsel in the litigation group of the Legal and Corporate Affairs department at Microsoft Corp., will participate on two panels during the Nov. 9, 2012, HB conference entitled “Too Big to Litigate: A Judicial and Lawyers’ Forum on The New Paradigm of Cost-Driven Litigation Strategies.”

The program – which is complimentary for in-house counsel and members of the judiciary – was conceived and will be chaired by Hon. Janice M. Symchych (former), now a neutral at global mediation giant JAMS. Hon. Symchych is a former U.S. Magistrate Judge and former Deputy General Counsel at Medtronic.


Killough is a senior attorney in Microsoft’s Patent Litigation Group in Redmond, Wash. Before joining Microsoft in January 2008, Killough was a partner and co-head of the IP Practice at Vinson & Elkins in Texas and former associate and partner at O’Melveny & Myers in California. Killough has been listed among the Best Laywers in America and as a Texas Superlawyer. He is a graduate of the Southwestern University School of Law.
