The HB Litigation Conferences Construction Litigation Leaders’ Forum 2012—scheduled for March 8-9, 2012, in Santa Monica, Calif.—will be the first time that an HB Conference is chaired by two in-house lawyers. William Mayer, VPT and General Counsel-West Region of D.R. Horton, America’s Builder and Donalee Pelovsky, AVP Construction Defect Claims, ACE North American Claims, will be co-chairs along with Richard Glucksman of Chapman, Glucksman, Dean, Roeb & Barger, APC and Mark Milstein of Milstein Adelman, LLP.

The conference will be held at the Sheraton Delfina in Santa Monica, and is designed to provide a comprehensive view of the litigation for all parties—plaintiffs, defendants, insurers and in-house counsel.

It will also feature a judicial panel with judges from all the major Construction Defects litigation dockets in California, as well as an expert’s panel. There were also be a mediators’ session, sessions focusing on insurance, mock closing arguments and sessions addressing insolvency issues.

The Construction Litigation Leaders’ Forum 2012 will feature speakers and panelists from all the major players in the litigation—counsel for carriers, subs, developers, plaintiffs and more.
