A Must-Attend Session at HB’s Shale Gas Drilling Operations Conference
HB is proud to announce a highly experienced and qualified faculty for its Shale Gas Drilling Operations Conference, which is being presented on Oct. 3 in New York City in collaboration with The West LegalEd Center, a Thomson Reuters business.
Among the sessions will be “Current Litigation Strategies” featuring Hon. Ronald Hedges (Former), Corodemus & Corodemus, L.L.C., Richard Faulk, Gardere Wynne Sewell LLP, and Jacob Grouser, Hoagland, Longo, Moran, Dunst & Doukas, LLP.
Hon. Ronald Hedges is former U.S. Magistrate Judge for the District of New Jersey, and a thought-leader in subjects important to litigators such as managing electronic discovery, managing and resolving complex cases, the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure, juries and punitive damages, and more. He is of counsel to the prestigious alternative dispute resolution team at Corodemus & Corodemus in Iselin, New Jersey.
Richard Faulk – a long-time “go to” resource for HB programs (and before that Mealey’s Conferences) – has more than 35 years of practice. He has served as lead counsel for toxic tort and environmental litigation in Texas and other jurisdictions. He has defended claims for a variety of injuries and illnesses, including various forms of cancer and neurotoxic effects, and has assembled a group of highly qualified medical, safety, and engineering experts to assist in defending his clients. Faulk is experienced in environmental litigation, including groundwater contamination cases, cost recovery and contribution actions under CERCLA and state environmental laws, and “neighborhood” exposure cases alleging residential toxic exposures and property value diminution from alleged pollution released by manufacturing facilities.
Jacob S. Grouser, with Hoagland, Longo, Moran, Dunst & Doukas, LLP, is experienced in defending and prosecuting environmental claims and frequently counsels clients in connection with transactional and regulatory environmental matters and the pursuit of insurance coverage.
