Renowned intelligence and security expert Joel Brenner will highlight the expanding impact insurers have in the cyber security arena as the luncheon keynote speaker at HB Litigation Conferences’ NetDiligence® Cyber Risk & Privacy Liability Forum.
This leading cyber liability forum to be held June 7-8 in Philadelphia will draw more than 500 professionals in insurance, business, security and the law.
Brenner is the former National Security Agency senior counsel and former head of U.S. counterintelligence under the Director of National Intelligence.
“The potential role of insurers in improving cyber security has been crystal clear to me since I took over the counterintelligence job in 2006, so I am especially pleased at the prospect of engaging with this sector,” Brenner said.
Brenner has spoken and written extensively about cyber security. He is the author of America The Vulnerable: Inside The New Threat Matrix Of Digital Espionage, Crime And Warfare (paperback released as Glass Houses: Privacy, Secrecy, And Cyber Insecurity In A Transparent World).
