NetDiligence® Introduces Targeted Cost Calculators and a Cloud Risk Reference Guide
NetDiligence®, a leading cyber risk assessment and data breach services company, announced today it has released three proprietary new insurance risk manager and broker-focused tools for its eRisk Hub® portal. The new tools enable eRisk Hub users to evaluate specific areas of cyber risk: post-breach crisis communications / public relations; loss of revenue due to business interruption (e.g., a DDoS attack); and contractual and operational risks associated with cloud computing.
The Public Relations Cost Calculator—developed in partnership with Zing, a New York-based public relations firm—allows Hub users to model the potential costs of crisis communications counsel and services related to the disclosure of sensitive or protected information. This tool also helps educate users about the cost drivers of post-breach public relations.
The Business Interruption Cost Calculator was developed exclusively by NetDiligence®. This tool allows Hub users to estimate a first party loss due to a temporary outage in a business’ online storefront or computer network. Loss cost factors featured in this tool include the number of hours down, the selling season, percentage of transactions lost, and insurance deductibles.
The Cloud Risk Considerations tool—developed in partnership with law firm Baker & Hostetler LLP—provides Hub users with key criteria to consider when negotiating a contract with a Cloud or SaaS provider. The tool provides guidance on an extensive array of legal and contract considerations, including Scope of Services, Data Hosting & Storage, Maintenance, Subcontractors, Confidentiality/Proprietary Information, General & Electronic Security, and Security Breaches (among other topics). Additionally, there is an extensive section specifically for healthcare providers that must comply with HIPAA/HITECH standards.
These proprietary new tools are available exclusively to eRisk Hub licensors and users. For more information, contact Mark Greisiger at 610-525-6383 or mark.greisiger@NetDiligence.com.
