Mary Cullen Yeager of 3M will participate on two panels during the Nov. 9, 2012, HB conference titled “Too Big to Litigate: A Judicial and Lawyers’ Forum on The New Paradigm of Cost-Driven Litigation Strategies.” She will participate alongside in-house attorneys from Medtronic, Inc. and Microsoft, Inc.
The program – which is complimentary for in-house counsel and members of the judiciary – was conceived and will be chaired by Hon. Janice M. Symchych (former), now a neutral at global mediation giant JAMS. Hon. Symchych is a former U.S. Magistrate Judge and former Deputy General Counsel at Medtronic.
Yeager is 3M’s Assistant General Counsel of Global Litigation and Dispute Resolution, a post she has held since March 2011. Prior to that Yeager was a partner at Faegre & Benson LLP in Minneapolis where she was trial counsel in a multi-million dollar tort action and a high-stakes patent litigation between Fortune 500 companies, and litigation counsel in trade secret litigation involving a billion-dollar product. She prevailed in these and other cases while at the firm.
Yeager received her J.D. from William Mitchell College of Law, where she graduated magna cum laude, and her B.A. from College of St. Benedict.
HB welcomes Ms. Yeager to this outstanding faculty.
